Who we are/What we do
While the Berkley School District is proud and extremely supportive of the band program, it takes fundraising efforts of the BIB to purchase equipment, larger instruments, uniforms, and assist with funding clinicians, festivals and trips. The BIB is a non-profit group dedicated to raising funds and awareness of the band programs offered by the Berkley School District. Please join us! Meeting are the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the band room at Berkley High School. Sept 12* Oct 10* Nov 7 Dec 5 Jan 9* Feb 6 March 6 April 10* May 1 June 5 * Please note dates changes due to the Berkely School District Calendar BIB meets monthly throughout the school year planning events and fundraisers to support scholarships for music lessons and/or summer music camp, uniforms, music workshops, instruments for the classrooms, transportation to music festivals and trips, clinicians (specialist instructors) to work with students, and other activities. Meetings are 7:00 p.m. in the Berkley High School Band Room the first Monday of each month, September through June. |
